For a while, most of my free time and energy was devoted to animal rescue with the "cat and dog groups" around town. I have actually been doing informal rescue work for a few years, but didn't realize it because it just seemed like a part of every day life. For the first couple of years, I had always only fostered cats since I'd lived in apartments. But when I moved into a rental house in Oak Hill I wound up fostering many dogs - all at the same time.
My earliest memory of animal rescue happened when I was about seven or eight years old.
Now that I have moved into my very own house, I have the option of taking in any animal who needs me.
Yes, they are all vegan as well...
